* Note - It is not exactly clear who WST's first producers were, as there is some difficulty differentiating between those who produced that year's show versus those who were simply establishing the theatre, if indeed there is a distinction to be made. In the playbill for Bye Bye Birdie, Jonathan Hadary is listed as both "Producer" and "Executive Producer", implying the existence of other producers. No one else is billed as such, however, although David Harper and James Pepper were included in the first Producers Association listing, perhaps reflecting their roles as Managing Director and Business Manager for Birdie, respectively, and as the original WST Board members.
